The episode of “Summer in Direct” on Rai 1 on Monday 12 May was broadcast with a slight variation. The conductors Roberta Capua and Gianluca Semprini – who are getting good ratings and various appreciations – stopped for an hour to give the line to a special edition of TG 1 dedicated to the meeting, in Rome, between the head of state Sergio Mattarella, the Azzurri and the tennis player Matteo Berrettini.
It was a particular episode that of “Summer live” on Monday 12 July 2021.
Gianluca Semprini and Roberta Capua, the two conductors, started the week with a small variation of the programming.
The broadcast, in fact, stopped for an hour, from 4.45pm to 5.45pm, to make way for a special edition of the news program that followed the arrival in the capital of Italian National after the victory at the European Championships on Sunday 11 July.

The exciting was therefore broadcast live meeting between the Azzurri, who brought to Rome the Cup won in the final against England, with the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, who was in the grandstand during the match and cheered along with the rest of the fans and spectators at home.
He was also with them Matteo Berrettini, revelation of the tennis tournament and the first Italian in history to reach the final in Wembley, where he was beaten by the multiple champion Novak Djokovic.
Live summer: joy and superstition for Italy
Monday 12th July Roberta Capua and Gianluca Semprini, therefore, they kept the viewers of “Summer live” with the first segment and, subsequently, with the last hour of transmission, broadcast before “Chain reaction”.
As proof of the excellent work they are doing, rewarded by the ratings, Semprini and Capua they also aired exceptionally on the Sunday afternoon before the final of Euro 2020, to document the hours prior to England – Italy.
Already in the episodes of the past few days the two presenters have continued to cheer for the Azzurri and to underline the successes in the European football championship, while curbing the enthusiasm in the face of victories for superstition.
