MotoGP – Good morning dear readers of FormulaPassion.it MotoGP enthusiasts and welcome back with the appointment dedicated to direct reporting of the fourth free practice session and qualifying sessions for the Thai Grand Prix in Buriram, the seventeenth race of the 2022 world championship in the premier class.
• Session in progress
09.25 – Green light for Buriram Free Practice 4 – Thirty minutes at the disposal of the MotoGP riders to refine the set-up in view of qualifying and the race. Recall that this session will have no value for the composition of Q1 and Q2.
09.15 – Dry conditions confirmed also in view of Free Practice 4 and Qualifying. Moto2 qualifying has just ended with Chantra’s pole position, while in Moto3 it was Dennis Foggia who excelled.
Despite the predictions for the weekend, all three MotoGP free practice sessions were held on a dry track. This morning’s PL3 were therefore decisive in defining the ten riders who gained direct access in Q2. Out of ten bikes, no less than seven are Ducatis, a sign of an increasingly evident technical dominance. The top4 is from Borgo Panigale: first Martin (Prima Pramac team), second Miller (official team), third Zarco (Prima Pramac team) and fourth Bagnaia (official team).
Both Marc Marquez (Honda) and the two Aprilia of Aleix Espargarò and Maverick Vinales will have to start from Q1, because out of the combined top 10.
