MotoGP – Good morning dear readers of FormulaPassion.it MotoGP enthusiasts and welcome back with the appointment dedicated to the direct report of the third and fourth free practice sessions and of qualifications of the Valencian Community Grand Prix of Valencia, the twentieth and final race of the 2022 world championship in the premier class. It will be the weekend in which the world riders title will be awarded between Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) and Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha): for the occasion, the MotoGP social accounts have coined the hashtag #TheDecider.
These are the times of the Saturday sessions: PL3 09.55-10.40 / PL4 13.30-14 / Q1 14.10-14.25 / Q2 14.35-14.50.
• Free Practice 3 starts at 09.55
09.40 – First update, as usual, on the weather: the sun is shining on Valencia and the perfect conditions for a day on the track are confirmed.
In Moto3 Jaume Masia knocked out Kaito Toba, in the escape route a very unfriendly exchange between the two, with the Spaniard who reacted with a slap to the slap received by his colleague.
Friday in Valencia saw three Ducatis occupy the virtual podium of the time standings, with Luca Marini (VR46) stopping the clocks in 1’30.217, ahead of Jorge Martin (Ducati Prima Pramac) and Jack Miller (factory team) , 105 and 128 thousandths detached respectively. Championship leader Francesco Bagnaia did not force and finished in ninth place (+0 ″ 230), the sixth fastest Ducati on the track and marked his rival Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), who finished eighth. The transalpine has only one result to hope for the world championship: victory. It will therefore be a very important Saturday for the riders of the premier class, who are expected to have excellent weather forecasts and who will therefore aim to improve their times starting from FP3 in the morning, to gain direct access to the afternoon Q2.
