Little Big Adventure, also known as Twinsen Odyssey, may no longer be a particularly well-known title, but those who have dealt with the first two chapters will surely be happy to know that there is a new game planned by a team with the support of original authors.
There are no precise details on the matter yet, but a message from the team 2.21 is very explicit in announcing a new chapter planned for the Little Big Adventure series, waiting to know more about this interesting initiative.
It is unclear whether the original authors are directly involved in the development, but based on the message it emerges that Frédérick Raynal and Didier Chanfray, who created the original at Adeline Software in 1994 and then its sequel about three years later, officially supported the 2.21 team and this series relaunch project.
For the moment we only have the message in question, which is basically a mission statement: “Dear Little Big Adventure fans, for years you have been waiting for a new chapter of the series, but the wait is almost over. Thanks to the loving support of Frédérick Raynal and Didier Chanfray, we have launched a new studio to bring Twinsen and Zoé back to PC and console. We would like to thank all the fans around the world, especially the Magicball network, for fueling the fire all these years. “
However, the wait promises to be very long given that “the development of the game it hasn’t started yet“, we read at the end of the message. It is therefore still a project in the initial stages of design, so there is still a long wait to see what it is. For those unfamiliar with them, Little Big Adventure and Little Big Adventure 2 are particular adventures with isometric third-person view that stage the story of Twinsen and Zoe on the strange planet Twinsun and its bizarre population.
