Listen to TV, the National team glues over 18 million Italians to the screen. Great success also for TV8 with the final of Wimbledon 2021 with the blue Berrettini
With 18,172,000 viewers and 73.68% share, the Italy-England match with the victory of the national team at the 2020 European Championships broadcast by Rai1 won the audience of yesterday’s prime time. The other programs had to settle for a few crumbs with share figures that do not even reach 2%: on Canale 5, in fact, ‘Vittoria e Abdul’ obtained 388,000 viewers and 1.56%; on Rai2 ‘Love, cuisine and curry’ totaled 360,000 viewers with 1.45%; on Retequattro ‘La mia Africa’ it recorded 276,000 viewers and 1.15%; on Rai3 ‘The secrets of Osage County’ was seen by 237,000 viewers equal to 0.95%; on Italia1 ‘Dad’s girlfriend’ interested 233,000 viewers with 0.94%. On La7 ‘Face to Face – Lady D vs Elizabeth II’ got 195,000 viewers with 0.78%; on Nove ‘Supernanny’ it won 82,000 viewers and 0.3%; finally on Tv8 ‘HeartBreakers – Family vice’ scored 0.29% share and 76,000 viewers.
In the afternoon daytime great success for Tv8 which thanks to the final of the Wimbledon tennis tournament Berrettini-Djokovic scored 20.7% share with 2,862,000 viewers. In access prime time, the national team’s match magnetized almost all of the television audience, leaving the second classified, Canale 5 with ‘Paperissima Sprint’, 861,000 viewers and a 3.9% share. Overall, the Rai networks won all time slots and in particular the prime time with 17,279,000 viewers and 73.02% share, the second evening with 74.62% and 12,478,000 viewers, and the entire day with 5,437,000 viewers and a 50.5% share.
