CDMX.- The senator Lilly Tellez and other legislators of the National Action Party (PAN) they asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) to expel the analyst Abraham Mendieta from the country, arguing that “he has become involved in Mexican politics”.
It was through a letter that the Blue and Whites demanded that the institution led by Marcelo Ebrard Casaubón comply with the indicated in article 33 of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States, the Supreme Law of the legal system.
Lilly Téllez and the rest of the PAN members specified that Abraham Mendieta attacked paragraph three of the article mentioned, which dictates the following: “Foreigners may in no way interfere in the political affairs of the country.”
Constitutional 33 also empowers the president of Mexico, in this case Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), to expel foreigners who go against the rules without the need for a hearing.
The demand made by the legislators received a response from the analyst, who considered it absurd that they intend to expel him from the country when they “invited” a woman from Guatemala and even gave her time in front of the microphone.
“How absurd that the PRI and PAN members complain that I attend to cover campaign events as a foreigner: they invited Guatemalan Rigoberta Menchú to an event with Caro Viggiano and even gave her the floor,” he posted on his Twitter account. @abrahamendieta.”
Let us remember that Menchú was present at a public event of the candidate of the Va X Mexico coalition in Hidalgo, Carolina Viggiano, where the foreigner had the voice.
Abraham Mendieta also brought up that “not long ago” an Italian “lobbyist” was in the lower house talking with a deputy from the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD), this, when the main issue was the Electrical Reform proposed by AMLO .

“What an irony: those who received orders and moches from an Italian lobbyist do not want me to give an opinion on politics because I was not born here,” he wrote on the social network.
