Like a Dragon: Yakuza – First trailer for the live action series

Amazon has released the first trailer for Like a Dragon: Yakuzalive action series coming soon on Prime Video The October 24. The first six episodes will be available at launch, with the remaining three becoming available starting October 31st. Here is a brief description of the plot:

“In 1995, looking for a way to escape from their monotonous life, Kiryu and his friends Nishiki, Yumi And Miho they plan a robbery at the neighborhood arcade. The entire place is under the control of the Dojima familya branch of the yakuza that reigns in Kamurocho. They will thus find themselves immersed in a world of underworld.

Now it’s 2005, Kiryu is about to be released from prison. Discovers from detective Date that his friends are in danger, and so he decides to return to Kamurocho to protect them. However their friendship has deteriorated, and the tension between Tojo Clan and theOmi Alliance has now reached dangerous levels.”
