MacLane referred to Evans’ ability to deliver humor in serious moments, a key quality that drew them to him.
“That’s what he does really well as Captain America. This is not the same character, but that showed that he could do it. He’s a really good comic actor, he’s a really good dramatic actor and he’s very good at action. “
In addition, he revealed that Evans “naturally” fit in with the character and that his positive attitude made working with him “very easy.”
“Chris is a great partner for the film, creatively and spiritually.”, said. “He is so excited and very positive about it. It is exactly who you think it is. Is incredible!”, he pointed.
For his part, Evans also acknowledged that the role is “a dream come true” and that the entire shooting experience was “magical.”
“The phrase ‘a dream come true’ is used a lot, but it never meant that much in my life,” he said. “Anyone who knows me knows that my love for animated films runs deep.”
“I can’t believe I’m getting to be part of the Pixar family and working with these truly brilliant artists who tell stories like no one else. Watching them work is nothing short of magic, ”commented the actor who plays Captain America.
