Nicaragua.- Two minor cousins died after being struck by lightning when they went out to look for a telephone signal on a hill in the municipality of Muelle de los Bueyes, in the Autonomous Region of the Southern Caribbean, in Nicaragua.
The events occurred last Thursday on a farm in the rural community of San Miguel, in the municipality of Muelle de los Bueyes.
The victims were 13 and 16 years old, respectively, and both left their houses towards a small hill to look for a signal for their phones when they were struck by lightning.
According to the report, the parents of the minors, seeing that his children did not come homeeven though the rain had already stopped, they had to go out to look for them.
Unfortunately, the parents found the teenagers dead next to each other.
A coroner certified that death was the result of an electric shock. The cousins were high school students on Saturday at a school in their community.
