“The Nerazzurri? I went to see them in Reggio Emilia: I don’t know if they will win the Scudetto, but if we think about everything that happened last summer I can say that today is a good project “
Want to tell about his life and career without discounts: Ligabue, a great Inter fan, is back with the docu-series “Ligabue – That’s how it went”, seven episodes that will start on Tuesday (today) on Rai Play with Stefano Accorsi narrating voice. Not only content, many guests and archive images, but also complicity and gags between the two, already together with “Radio Freccia”, and great friends. A ride from the Eighties onwards in which its history is intertwined with the most significant news events and with its songs. “I will not only talk about the successes – says Liga – but also about the gray areas, the moments of difficulty, my three crises, even if it is not popular: one at the beginning, after the third album, one for the difficulty of managing the success, the last one after the “Made in Italy” concept, when I lost my voice and they operated on my vocal cords ”.
In one episode we talk about the concert venues, from the parking lot of a supermarket to stadiums, such as the one at San Siro, to the one that will come to Campovolo, hopefully in June 2022. What do you think of today’s Inter, it is from the Scudetto ?
“I went to see her in Reggio Emilia, against Sassuolo: for an hour she was prey for the home team, then she changed, she was more fun and she deserved to win. I don’t know if he will win the Scudetto because the competition is fierce, but it is nice to see, if we think about everything that happened last summer I can say that today is a good project ”.
You are as fit as you were thirty years ago, what is your secret?
“Thanks for the compliment, but I’m not as perky as before. But I always run on the treadmill watching TV, often the series. I’ve never stopped moving and can’t wait to get back to doing gigs. Years ago I decided to retire, but then I realized that getting on stage is an addiction for me, I am a drug addict in withdrawal, I can’t wait to start over. The audience, the people in front of me is my very personal show, I could never give it up “.
Meanwhile, on October 16, “Liga” will present a preview of the short “Sogni di rock’n’roll” with Fabrizio Moro at the Rome Film Fest.
