Monterrey, Nuevo León.- Rayados de Monterrey played their last friendly game and starting this week the first team training sessions will be exclusive to play the Liga MX Apertura 2022 tournament that will start next weekend.
Víctor Manuel Vucetich’s squad will make its presentation next July 3 visiting Santos Laguna, one of the teams they faced on their tour of the United States and distinguished the type of game with which the next league championship will begin.
The Gang managed to close their preseason impeccably. Yesterday (Saturday) in the tribute game against América de Cali, they won 4-0 at the ‘Gigante de Acero’ thanks to a brace from Uruguay, Diego Aguirre, and goals from ‘Ponchito’ González and Jesús Gallardo.
