Although its launch was announced only a few days ago, Paradox Interactive has updated on the situation Life by You communicating a new postponement for the game, which currently does not yet have a new one exit date.
“After much consideration, we regret to announce that we have decided to retract the Early Access release date of Life by You,” reads a new message from Paradox CEO Mattias Lilja.
This date was announced only a few days ago, set for June 4th, but evidently something didn’t go right. Although it was still an early access launch, therefore not a definitive version, the developers evidently need more time.
It takes a little more time to develop
“It was not an easy decision, especially since we realize the anticipation and emotion that many players feel for the game. In any case, we believe that a little additional time for development is necessary,” Lilja reported.
Unlike what happened in the past, considering that it is not the first postponement applied to the game, in this case there is no new release date announced, for the moment, with the developers evidently, at this point, no longer wanting risk having to change the information further.
So it will still take some time, with a new date that will be communicated only after a more careful analysis of the situation by Paradox: “We will provide you with more information as soon as possible, in the meantime we want to sincerely thank you for your continued support and patience”, Lilja reported again.
Life by You seems to be an interesting one rival of The Simswhich intends to directly clash with the EA and Maxis giant, proposing a new life simulation with a rather realistic style, in this case.
One of the distinctive elements of the game, for example, is the adoption of real language between the characters, which should guarantee considerable additional depth to the relationships between them and the interaction with the surrounding world.
