After the separation of Libido, Salim Vera continued making music with Manolo Hidalgo. The drummer and composer of 'In This Room', Jeffry Fischman, had been the first to leave the band to pursue a career as a producer in the United States. At the end of 2020, he joined them for a festival.
That year, Jáuregui launched the book Beyond Libido and maintained that it was the most conciliatory side of the group. “At the beginning I had all these mixed feelings., the immaturity, the fights, the breakdown of a society, of a friendship that I had with my former colleagues from that musical journey. And as time went by, I was not satisfied because I did not want the book to be loaded with feelings, I wanted it to be simply a historical essay between good and bad things,” he declared to La República at the time.
The concert that brings back the successful Peruvian band is scheduled for July 6 of this year so that it “becomes part of the celebrations.” Tickets will be available from this Thursday, at 10 am, on Teleticket. “The organization announces that the production that will be presented at the National Stadium has the same requirement as any international band,” they point out.
