The watch of Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, the newcomer to Barcelona, was stolen while he was stopping in front of the Camp Nou stadium to sign for fans, according to the local police, who succeeded in arresting the thief.
Leva was robbed when the 33-year-old, who was transferred in July from Bayern Munich, arrived in his car at the Camp Nou stadium and stopped to greet and sign autographs for the fans, as the Catalan police explained, at the time, a young man came out of the car, and took off his car. The watch is off the wrist of the international striker.
After receiving a report about the theft, the police succeeded in arresting, less than an hour later, the 19-year-old thief, who was still keeping the watch and was hiding in a bush near the stadium.
The police explained that the thief was arrested, and charged with “theft with violence”, because even if the player was not abused, the fact that the watch was removed from his hand motivates this description.
Lewandowski is considered the most prominent deal in the Spanish league this season, as he left the Bavaria giant, who has defended his colors since 2014, to join the Catalan club for 45 million euros.
