Lebanon In Beirut, at least two people have been shot dead and 12 wounded in a demonstration on Wednesday. The wounded are in critical condition.
The protest was organized by Shiite organizations Hezbollah and Amal and called for the dismissal of the chief investigator of last year’s explosion in Beirut.
The army has isolated the area and begun the search for shooters. Civilians have been urged to leave the area.
