With the full season entry deadline of Friday 30 August fast approaching, the grid for the 2024/25 Asian Le Mans Series season, which kicks off with a double-header in Sepang, Malaysia, in December, is filling up fast.
There is already a good mix of established teams returning for another exciting season of top-level endurance racing and new teams, such as Climax Racing, Tsunami RT and Winward Racing, looking to take on the challenge of aiming for a place on the grid for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Climax Racing
Chinese team Climax Racing was founded by Chinese GT driver Zhou Bihuang in late 2019 and is based in Jiading, Shanghai.
It has successfully implemented a multi-brand operating structure. The team currently operates nearly 20 GT racing cars, including GT3 and GT4 cars from various brands such as Lamborghini, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG and Audi R8.
For the 2024/25 Asian Le Mans Series Climax Racing will enter a pair of Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVOs, with team owner Mike Zhou, who previously raced with Get Speed and Sainteloc, entered as the lead driver in the lineup.
Climax Racing has achieved numerous successes in China, including the 2021 China Endurance Team Champion, the 2021 China Auto Endurance GT3 and GT4 Team Champion, the 2021 China Endurance GT4 ProAm Champion, the 2021 GTSSC GT3 Drivers Championship Champion, and third place in the PCCA Asia Porsche Carrera Cup ProAm Series.
Tsunami RT
Originally founded in Odessa, Ukraine in 2007 and now based in San Marino and Italy, Tsunami RT has made a name for itself in both the Porsche Carrera Cup and rallying.
The team will enter a single Porsche 911 GT3 R in the 2024/25 Asian Le Mans Series, with a driver lineup that includes 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Fabio Babini.

Winward Racing
Winward Racing is a familiar name to racing fans around the world, competing in IMSA, DTM and GT World Challenge. Now it takes on a new challenge in the Asian Le Mans Series with a pair of Mercedes AMG GT3 EVOs.
The European arm of the team is based in Altendiez, between Frankfurt and Cologne, as well as in Pasadena, Texas, and the two cars will race under the Stars and Stripes banner for the Asian Le Mans Series.
The 2024/25 Asian Le Mans Series will consist of six races across three events. Rounds 1 and 2 will be held in Sepang, Malaysia on 7-8 December 2024. Rounds 3 and 4 will be held in Dubai on 8/9 February 2025, while the season will conclude in Abu Dhabi with Rounds 5 and 6 on 15/16 February.
