The entry list for the 24h of Le Mans 2024, the fourth seasonal event of the FIA World Endurance Championship in which 62 cars will take part, is finally complete.
After first publication of the list which took place on February 19th, the Automobile Club de l’Ouest has announced all the names of the drivers who will make up the various crews of the Hypercar, LMP2 (with also the PRO/AM subcategory) and LMGT3 Classes.
In recent weeks several teams, especially those from LMP2, had announced the latest names chosen for the adventure which will take place on the Circuit de la Sarthe in the week of 12-16 June.
Obviously places were guaranteed to all 37 protagonists of the World Endurance Championship, to which are added the guests who benefited from automatic entry due to the results achieved on the track in the other championships taken as reference (European Le Mans Series, Le Mans Cup, Asian Le Mans Series and IMSA SportsCar Championship) by the organizers, or which have emerged in a particular way according to the judgment of the latter.

In total we will see 23 Hypercars, 16 LMP2s and 23 LMGT3s ready to battle along 13,626km of the transalpine track, with 186 drivers eager to get into their respective cockpits for what is defined by most as the most important race of the season.
Like every year, the ACO and FIA have obviously also issued a list of reserves to be called in case one of the teams on the primary list cannot take part in the event.
For now, five teams remain ‘on the bench’, starting with Proton Competition which has its second Porsche 963 #79 ready for Gimmi Bruni to drive in IMSA.
In second place is the Oreca LMP2 #43 of Inter Europol Competition, then the LMGT3s of Racing Spirit Of Leman (Aston Martin #72), Kessel Racing #74.
Finally, the Oreca #41 of the American Staysail Motorsport was included, which Michael Dinan could ride.
As announced last week, the actions on the track will begin on Tuesday 12th, until the start of the 24h race on Saturday 15th June set for 4pm.
