Felipe Drugovich has been chosen by Cadillac Racing to complete the Action Express Racing V-Series.R crew at the 24h of Le Mans.
The Brazilian had already had the opportunity to try the American manufacturer’s LMDh with a view to his debut among the protagonists of the FIA World Endurance Championship for the French classic on 15-16 June.
The South American, who holds the reserve role for Aston Martin in F1, will share the wheel of car #311 together with Pipo Derani and Jack Aitken, teammates in the IMSA SportsCar Championship.
“We had Felipe in our sights for a couple of years and, after seeing him in action in ELMS recently, we finally managed to meet him and organize some simulator tests,” says Gary Nelson, AXR Team Manager.
“We were impressed by his maturity, discipline and knowledge. We then had a track test, where he shared our car with Pipo and Jack. We are excited to take the next step in this story and enter Felipe in Le Mans. I His results speak for themselves.”

For his part, Drugovich can’t wait: “I’m only 23 years old and I’m having the most important opportunity in my driving career thanks to Action Express and Cadillac. I came close to the magic of the 24h of Le Mans, winning the editions twice virtual”.
“Now I will dive into it for real with the #311 Cadillac together with my companions Pipo and Jack. It is a privilege to be able to make another dream come true. The 24h of Le Mans is impossible to define in words, such is its magic and its importance for cars in general and for motor racing in particular, the opportunity to experience these 100 years of history for the first time with AXR and Cadillac.”
