Heart rate at a slow pace, legs up, the snacks on the left, a microphone for your giggle and very quiet gaming with friends. Sometimes it’s nice not to be shot down every minute by a seventh grader with an internet connection and too much free time to practice. Sometimes you just want to play a game very relaxed and at your leisure. SnowRunner is for example the perfect game for that, or Farming Simulator. The first impression is rather dull, but amazingly enough you can spend a lot of hours in these games.
We are not surprised if that at Lawn Mowing Simulator just like that. Or is this game just going a step too far in the concept of slow gaming? It is literally doing chores for relaxation, but without it yielding anything in real life. The game promises an ‘authentic mowing experience’ and ‘choice of real world lawnmowers’. Well, who knows, it might be very satisfying to mow a digital lawn.
In addition to mowing, you can expand your HQ and spice up your machines with new accessories. Unfortunately – at the moment – there is no option to play the game with friends, and that’s exactly what makes such a slow game fun (or bearable?). Lawn Mowing Simulator was released this week for PC and Xbox. The game costs 29.99 euros
