“The week before Easter I went to do my sclerotherapy treatment, at night I got sick. Literally, I was with my sister at her house watching television and she gave me a micro-brain infarction,” says Laura Flores.
“They did all kinds of studies on me. They put a heart rate monitor on me. They analyzed everything and I am literally alive by a miracle,” says Laura Flores, who began her artistic career in her adolescence when she was part of a musical group with her brothers.
Regarding what Laura Flores felt when she was attacked by the microinfarction, she cites that her right arm and half of her face were paralyzed, she could not speak or articulate a word: “It's a horrible feeling. I can't describe it because I start crying again. When I regained speech, which was after about 40 seconds, I was able to yell 'DOCTOR!'”
Fortunately, Laura Flores was able to be helped and cared for by her doctor in the USAsince she currently lives there, she was hospitalized for two days and is now stable at home.
