Dubai Digital, in cooperation with the Dar Al Ber Society, launched the “Sacrifice” service, on the occasion of the upcoming Eid Al-Adha, within the categories of Islam and donations in the “Dubai Now” application, with the aim of facilitating charitable work and adhering to the precautionary measures taken by the state, in an effort to provide a comprehensive service system and integrated for people that meet their needs and keep pace with their aspirations within a unified smart application.
The service allows requesting and distributing the sacrifice and paying its price through simple steps, whether inside or outside the Emirates, and it also allows obtaining a third of the sacrifice.
The “Dubai Now” application provides the “sacrifice” service within safe and reliable payment procedures that save time and effort for users, and provide them with an innovative experience to perform charitable work easily and through their smart devices only, without the need to go to charities or specialized centers.
Wissam Lootah, Executive Director of the Dubai Smart Government Establishment, affiliated with the Dubai Digital Authority, confirmed that the smart services system in Dubai, through the “Dubai Now” application, is constantly expanding in all fields, to become the unified and comprehensive portal for government services and transactions in Dubai, and provides easy and quick solutions for various categories of people. All customers, in line with their needs and future aspirations from the government services sector.
He added, “Thanks to this expansion, the application has become an essential part of people’s lives in Dubai, given the comprehensive list of services it provides, the most recent of which is the (Sacrifice) service,” stressing the progression of the complete digital transformation process by December 12.
He pointed out that the digital transformation covers all sectors in the city, especially charitable work.
He said, “Our cooperation with charities continues to provide charitable services through the (Dubai Now) application. The door is always open to cooperate with charities to transform their services to digital, easy and secure, in line with our leadership’s vision of transforming the entire life in Dubai into a digital life.”
The CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber Society, Dr. Muhammad Suhail Al Muhairi, stressed the importance of the partnership between the association and Dubai Digital. He pointed to the demand from the people to perform the ritual of “sacrifice” as a translation of the teachings of our true religion, while “Dar Al Ber” specifically witnesses a very high demand from the public to perform the sacrifice service for them, which calls for new and advanced mechanisms in providing the service, ensuring the application of precautionary measures and the quality of service.
Those wishing to purchase the Eid al-Adha sacrifice can download the “Dubai Now” application, which is available on the “Apple and Google Play” stores, and carry out the purchase, payment and distribution procedures through the application in quick, smooth and reliable steps.
The unified “Dubai Now” application provides the city with the services of more than 30 government and private agencies, amounting to more than 130 services, and within 12 categories: bills, mobile, vehicles, housing, residence, health, education, security, and travel. Islam, donations and public services.
