With more than one popular name in this ranking, the surprise has been the Spanish series La casa de papel, or Money Heist, as it is known internationally. The plot that closes its passage through Netflix in December was selected by more than 200 specialists.
According to the BBC report, 206 television experts, critics, journalists, academics and industry figures from 43 countries were asked propose 10 best series released from January 1, 2000 to the present.
Although the list is headed by the HBO series The wire, starring Dominic West, John Doman, Idris Elba, Frankie Faison and others, it has highlighted the presence of the Spanish Netflix with Álvaro Morte at the head of the cast. According to the list, it ranks 43rd.
As for its plot, La casa de papel, season 5 says goodbye to Netflix in December this year after the premiere of part two of the cycle in question.
