Frank Lampard, Chelsea coach, said he does not think about his future with the “Blues”, and focuses all his thinking on improving the team’s condition, after the disappointing results he suffered in recent weeks.
He added in statements to L’Equipe newspaper: I do not listen to the rumors that have circulated a lot recently, and I do not focus with them.
He said: I am, in any case, doing my job to the fullest, with utmost sincerity and dedication, and Chelsea is my lifetime club, and rumors no longer affect me.
Lampard admitted that there are things that one can not control, without explaining these matters, and said: I continue to do my best, as long as I am a coach for this team.
Some news had expected Lampard’s dismissal if the team’s results did not improve during the next ten days, and the names of the German Thomas Tuchel and the Italian Massimiliano Allegri were repeated, so that one of them would replace Lampard.
