The idea dates back to 2019. But Lamborghini he never really abandoned the idea of setting up one on the streets of the world Dirt Huracan, that is a real supercar with ground clearance from ‘Urus’ but able to offer the usual power of all time. The car was spotted in Sant’Agata Bolognese, with a white cloth to camouflage its final forms. However, thanks to some details, it was possible to trace the identity of the prototype.
To publish the video on Youtube was the usual Varryx, who used his stalking skills to observe this car. Many had given up the project for dead, abandoned in place of other investments. It seems, however, that all is not lost, for a car that will raise numerous eyebrows when officially presented.
The Lamborghini Sterrato will have greater ground clearance, presumably with a four-wheel drive configuration. It will also have skid plates, roof bars, several specific air intakes and appropriately modified LED headlights to improve the off-road view. In the images you can see rims similar to those placed on the 2019 Sterrato concept, but the tires do not seem particularly oversized.
It is assumed that a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine also featured on the Huracan EVO. It produces 631 horsepower and is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. We will see how Lamborghini behaves in relation to the production aspect: this car could easily be a limited series. There are no particular news on the interior design, which should not differ too much from those of the base Huracan, except for some design solutions to make this particular ‘off-road’ touch recognizable, which for Lamborghini is not at all new (historically).
