Laila Al-Marzouqi, the champion of the race, gave the title to Al-Kamda Stables, after an exceptional performance in the final stages, to surpass the competitors brilliantly, before covering the total distance, with a time of 3:52:05 hours, and an average speed of 26.20 km / h, followed by the jockey Anna Arbuzova in second place. Riding «ER Ardoz» to the «Gulf» stables with a time of 3:53:58 hours, and an average speed of 25.99 km / h.
The third came the jockey, Rawda Nasser Al-Doukhi, riding “Zazathik” for Mansour Salman Al-Sabri Stables, at a time of 3:58:51 hours, at an average speed of 25.46 km / h.
With the record participation of male and female riders, and under the wonderful atmosphere, the 100 km private stables race was launched, which was divided into four stages, full of challenge and excitement.
The champion, Laila Al-Marzouqi, started the first stage in 61st place, with an average speed of 26.66, and maintained the same average speed to move to sixth place, and fell to ninth place, but close to the leaders.
In the last stage for a distance of 20 km, she raised her average speed to 26.20 km / h, to surpass the leader, Anna Arbuzova, in a wonderful manner, to reach the finish line raising the victory sign, before her horse passed the veterinary examination.
After the end of the race, Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Equestrian Federation, Abdullah Al Naqbi, Director of Marketing and Events Department at the Federation, and Kim Elliot, Director of Abu Dhabi Equestrian Racecourse, crowned the winners.
On Thursday morning, the festival’s activities will continue with the women’s race for a distance of 100 km, with the participation of elite female knights in the country, along with other female knights representing the various stables.
The distance of the women’s race is 100 km, and it was divided into 4 stages. The distance of the first stage, drawn with orange flags, is 30.30 km, the second with blue flags is 30.80 km, then the third with white flags, and its distance is 20.17 km, while the distance of the last stage, which is drawn with green flags, is 20.07 km. km, and the stages are interspersed with compulsory rest periods ranging from 40 to 60 minutes.
Among the most important and important conditions of the race is that the minimum age of the participating horse is 6 years and above, and that the rider’s weight is not less than 50 kg with the saddle, and that the horse’s pulse after the end of each of the four stages does not exceed 64 beats per minute.
The village of Boudhieb witnessed veterinary examinations of horses and the weights of female jockeys, in accordance with the conditions and regulations of the race, and the Equestrian and Racing Federation completed the arrangements for holding the festival through the specialized committees.

Laila Al-Marzouqi, the champion of the race, expressed her happiness at winning the title of the private stables at the opening of the festival, and said: The good and wonderful atmosphere helped everyone to present their best during all stages, and the cold weather stimulated the speed, which was reflected in the technical level that I see as distinguished.
She added: I was keen to implement the trainer’s plan, by being present during the first stages near the lead group, and making up for any difference in time during the following stages, and this facilitated the task in the last 3 kilometers, as I kept the horse’s fitness, to present its strongest at the last start to the finish line. .
