According to him, in the conciliation proposal in the field of design and consulting, both the level of the increase and the size of the general increase will ensure a reasonable development of the salaries of all employees working in the sector.

“As far as technology industry employees are concerned, the level of general increase in the further negotiations was such that it meets the needs of the members working in the field,” says Malinen.

Director who negotiated on the part of the employer Anne Somer estimates that avoiding strikes is important and that companies are now able to focus on their business.

“The solutions are in line with previous agreements in the technology industry. However, it is hoped that companies will agree as widely as possible on company-specific payroll solutions that suit their situations, ”says Somer.

Technology industry According to the employers, the solutions are two years old, but the salaries for the second year of the contract will not be agreed until next autumn.

The organization says that the primary premise in wage settlements is that wage adjustments are agreed locally, taking into account the situations of the companies. In local negotiations, the size, timing and implementation of salary adjustments can be agreed.

If there is no local wage settlement, wages will be revised in accordance with the so-called stern board of collective agreements.

Both in the industrial sector and in the engineering and consulting sector, wage increases under the stern board total 1.9 per cent.

At the end of the negotiations, only wage settlements were open, as the parties had already agreed on so-called text issues.
