Always Netflix has focused on keeping content which are most successful among the public, and the House of Paper is certainly among them: the Netflix Original series in fact it would not come to an end with its third season, the final episodes of which will arrive during this week.
There House of Paper, according to Netflix itself, is the subject of a spin-off in progress and that will see the light in 2023. We do not yet have certain information about what will be deepened in this new series, only that the cast will return almost in its entirety.
This information came out during a official event organized by Netflix, which took place on Tuesday in Madrid. Over 5000 fans of the series were present in place, proving how much attention on the series does not tend to wane despite starting to have passed some time since its release.
During the event, a question time, during which the presence of almost the entire cast in the spin off series was confirmed and in particular that Berlin will have its own show; Pedro Alonso will in fact return to interpret the character in this new franchise content.
Such was the popularity of the Berlin character that the company chose Park Hae-soo, the actor who played the highly acclaimed Cho Sang-woo in Squid Game, to dub Pedro Alonso’s performance in the Korean adaptation; the latter made a declaration during its dedicated space in the event:
It is a memorable moment, the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. We are open to anything and we don’t know what to expect, I was just talking about it today with Jesus Colmenar. I know these folks could give the series unexpected twists and turns; it is a burden to have such a responsibility, I hope to have the courage to put my all into this project.
We look forward to finding out what the final episodes of La Casa di Carta have in store for us, while we await new information on the announced spin-off.
