The acclaimed Neftlix series has announced the premiere of its fifth and final season in which Dalí’s masked men will culminate a long sequel of robberies, persecutions and romances.
In an interview for the EFE news agency, the protagonist Úrsula Corberó, better known as Tokio, told how the recording process was since 2017 and what the production produced in her life as an actress.
According to Úrsula, who has a leading role in the series, the first scripts for La casa de papel generated many doubts when recording, as she assures that she had never done a large-scale show.
“When they gave me the first scripts, before I started shooting, I said: ‘This is very strange, this can be the bomb or one of those things that we have never done, that we do not know how to do it, a want and not I can, ‘”he added.
However, Úrsula Corberó said that La casa de papel improved her confidence when interpreting her acting projects and that, in addition, she and the other actors managed to break with the idea that this type of project could only be achieved by Americans.
“The series has helped us all to gain confidence in the projects we do, to understand that we are also capable of doing things that before maybe only Americans did. It has also given us a boost of self-esteem within the industry and that is very important, to realize and be aware that in Spain we are capable of doing incredible things ”, added Corberó.
