A turning point that involved some problems such as porpoising, faced and not yet totally resolved, all while Formula 1 is preparing for a major, further regulatory change.
Next in two
This will happen in 2026the year in which the power unit. In this respect, the rules have already been defined for all six manufacturers who will be present for that world championship, but what still remains pending concerns the field ofaerodynamics. This too, in fact, will be subject to new changes, but still no drafts were given to the teams. An aspect that is generating some concern a Mike Krackteam principal of Aston Martin.
Don't put it off too long
The Luxembourg engineer, speaking to Racing News 365, would like to have the first indications quickly, in order to dispel any doubts: “There was a conversation in which many things were discussed – he explained regarding the last meeting held in March – I think the goal is to have a complete settlement by the end of June. I think it's important to have regulation soon, because this is a big change for everyone. So we need to see what the weight targets are, what the architecture of the car is, what the tire dimensions are. There are still a lot of discussions going on, then we shouldn't put it off too long“.
