North Korea has launched a ballistic missile into the sea. It has conducted several weapons tests within three weeks.

North Korea launched another ballistic missile into the sea early Friday morning local time, South Korea’s armed forces said, according to Yonhap news agency.

According to the AFP news agency, ten North Korean fighter jets flew early in the morning near the South Korean border. South Korea responded by sending its own fighter jets into the air.

According to the South Korean military staff, the planes flew about 25 kilometers north of the border between the two countries, when they crossed the South Korean intelligence line. That will trigger South Korea’s automatic operational response, military officials said.
