The story that comes from and concerns Russia is shocking Maxim Lyutyi, a 44-year-old influencer who in years past had become known for his vegan and raw food lifestyle. About a year ago the man was arrested accused of causing the death of his one-month-old son. According to what emerges, it seems that he had decided to feed it only by exposing it to sunlight. A practice called “solar breathing” which, naturally, led to the tragic epilogue.

It was March 2023 when Maxim Lyutyi and his wife, the 34-year-old Oxana Mironova, accompanied their child to the hospital in the Russian city of Sochi because according to them “he appeared tired”. The reality, unfortunately, was completely different.

The small Kosmos he was just 30 days old and weighed only 1.3 kg. His vital functions had reached the minimum and shortly after his arrival at the clinic, his little heart stopped forever.

What caused his death, as later emerged, was the complete absence of power. Apparently the influencer had imposed on his son a lifestyle called “solar breathing”, which consists of nourishing himself only with exposure to the sun. The man, as it later emerged, forbade his wife from breastfeeding him.

Being vegan and raw food it was a real mission for Lyutyi. Lifestyle that she proudly spoke about on social media with the intent of engage his followers, which had grown significantly over time. On your account Instagram wrote:

I have been eating raw for over 8 years. During this period I set personal records such as 50 pull-ups, 8 hours of sport in a row at 35 degrees almost without a break, without food or water. In addition to what I eat, I also grow my own food for very high quality and healthy eating. I conducted dozens of different experiments with my body and formed my own wellness system as a result.
