Knockout City will become a free-to-play experience

Velan Studios, developers of this game, released the news through a post on their official blog that says the following:

“We are very excited to offer our game to millions of new players around the world, once it goes free-to-play.

We couldn’t have introduced Knockout City to the world without the incredible support of EA Originals, but now that we’re making this change, the next organic step for us is to take over publishing responsibilities and work more closely with our community.”

Its developers also addressed the issue of those who did pay for the game, and mentioned that before the start of the Season Six, They will be giving away a special package to these users that contains “exclusive legendary items, EXP boosts, and 2 thousand Holobux.”

On the other hand, Velan Studios will be posting Knockout City henceforth. The game was initially published under the imprint of EA Originalsbut now watch You will have absolute control of the IP.
