A FREE DEMO OF KIRBY AND THE LOST LAND IS AVAILABLE NOW ON THE NINTENDO ESHOP
Players can experience three levels of the first game world ahead of launch on March 25th
03 March, 2022 – Kirby and the Lost Land for Nintendo Switch launches on March 25th, but for anyone who wants to get a taste of Kirby’s various copying skills and the new Boccorph mode, a free demo is already available in Nintendo eShop.
In Kirby and the Lost Land, players will join Kirby on a journey through a mysterious and vibrant world filled with rescued Waddle Dee and abundant platforming challenges. The new demo, available today on Nintendo eShop, includes three levels from the game’s first world. It allows players to experience some of Kirby’s abilities and take a look at this strange land where abandoned buildings of a past civilization and wilderness meet. It is also possible to face the first boss of the game, the fearsome beast Gorimondo. By completing the demo, players can obtain a Gift Code which they can enter into the full version of the game, once purchased, to redeem some useful items in the game.
The demo will also provide a glimpse into Kirby’s new Mouth Morph mode. With this latest addition to his repertoire, Kirby is able to inhale real-world objects to take on powerful transformations that help the pink ball tackle obstacles or solve puzzles. In the full game, Kirby can inhale a car to whiz away and destroy objects, a vending machine to shoot juice cans, a light bulb to illuminate his surroundings, and even a cone to pierce water pipes, just for name a few.
Though devoid of civilization, the forgotten world Kirby visits is filled with challenges, ferocious enemies, and overwhelming adventures. A co-star can join the game as a Waddle Dee Helper in co-op for two players * on the same console, allowing anyone to invite a friend or family member on the adventure.
Between levels of play, you can relax in Waddle Dee Town, which serves as the central hub of the adventure. The city will develop based on the number of Waddle Dee saved, with several shops and games opening along the way. As the city grows, Kirby can help out at Waddle Dee’s Bar, evolve his copying skills in the Waddle Dee Armory, or enjoy some recreational fishing.
A free demo of Kirby and the Lost Land is now available in Nintendo eShop ahead of the game’s launch on March 25th. The demo includes three levels from the game’s first world. Players can now take a look at the Mouth Morph mode, face the first boss, and even receive a gift code to use in the full game.
