Andrea Kimi Antonelli is preparing for his debut in a single-seater and to do so he has chosen to join the team of reference in the preparatory categories: the Prema Powerteam.
The team headed by Angelo Rosin announced this morning that it had signed the talented Italian driver for the remaining rounds of the Italian Formula 4.
Antonelli, who has made a name for himself in the karting world thanks to his numerous successes and is currently under contract with the Mercedes Academy, will make his debut in a single-seater at the Red Bull Ring next week, a few days after he turned fifteen.
In addition to the Spielberg round, Antonelli will also race the two final rounds of the season at Mugello and Monza in order to complete the preparation for the full time debut in F4 the following year.
