Abu Dhabi (Union) Khazna Data Center Company, one of the providers of commercial data centers in the Middle East and North Africa, has announced the start of construction work for its second data center at Masdar in Abu Dhabi, which will be completed in the third quarter of 2023. The new 31.8 megawatt facility, called Khazna Abu Dhabi 6 (AUH 6), will expand the company’s presence in the region, and meet the need for a future-ready digital infrastructure to enhance companies’ digital flexibility and facilitate their digital transformation. The AUH 6 is designed to meet the highest standards of sustainability and efficiency, and meets international requirements related to hyperband. The use of a modular, repeatable design in building data centers improves building efficiency, provides better performance, increases application speed, and ensures smooth operations.
