His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, received Michelle Riley Brown, Executive Director of the National Children’s Hospital – Washington, and a team from the hospital’s senior management, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the National Children’s Hospital team, praising His Highness the hospital’s achievements, its pioneering initiatives in pediatrics, and its treatment programs that contribute to saving the lives of newborns and children from all over the world.
His Highness stressed the importance of the medical and scientific partnership between Abu Dhabi and the Children’s National Hospital in Washington, which extended over the past four decades, and culminated in 2009 with the launch of a global charitable partnership between the UAE and the Children’s National Hospital, which succeeded in achieving exceptional achievements in pediatrics by providing medical and therapeutic care for children and newborns. From all over the world, relying on the latest technologies and innovative medical solutions.
Michelle Riley Brown, Executive Director of the National Children’s Hospital, expressed her sincere thanks and gratitude to the United Arab Emirates and its wise leadership for their unlimited support for the hospital’s initiatives in order to improve the hospital’s medical services and therapeutic programs, save children’s lives, provide specialized treatment plans for critical cases, and develop proactive detection solutions for… Serious medical cases to enhance the chances of successful treatment and save patients’ lives.
