Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed visits UMEX and SimTEX exhibitions

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, visited yesterday the Unmanned Systems Exhibition “UMEX” and the Simulation Training Exhibition “SimTex” in their fifth edition, which will be held in the capital, Abu Dhabi.

During the visit, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with local and international companies, where he was briefed on the latest technologies and innovations in the field of unmanned systems, such as drones, and robotic systems used in the civil and defense sectors. UMEX, which was held for the first time in 2016, provides a leading global platform that brings together experts to discuss the most prominent developments, innovations and recent trends in the unmanned systems sector. UMEX is currently being held alongside Simulation and Training Exhibition, which aims to enhance cooperation between the armed forces, manufacturers, academic institutions and government agencies, with the aim of providing the best training and education programs in this field.
