Dustin Poirier signed a sensational performance at UFC 257 to defeat Conor McGregor by KO in the second round, thanks to a tremendous hail of blows that left the Irishman unanswered on the octagon. But what for many could be, in part, a surprise, for a legend of this sport like Khabib Nurmagomedov the predictable happened.
The Russian, minutes after concluding the fight, did not hesitate to hit ‘The Notorius’ through his Twitter: “This is what happens when you change teams, you leave the sparring that made you champion and you use sparring young children. Far from reality”.
This is what happened, when you change your team, leave the sparring partners who made you a champion and sparring with little kids, far away from reality.

Based on the results, it appears that McGregor’s preparation to meet Poirier was not the most adequate, as Khabib pointed out. The Russian, currently retired, remains world lightweight champion, a belt that the Irishman wants and for which Poirier could fight fully in the future.
