Actor Kevin Spacey (63) will appear in court this afternoon in New York in the case that actor Anthony Rapp (including Star Trek: Discovery) has brought against him. Spacey is said to have made sexual advances in 1986, when Rapp was only 14 years old.
Kevin Spacey, who played his lead role in hit series House of Cards lost due to multiple allegations of sexual misconduct, is already used to the court this year. This summer he appeared several times in London court to defend himself against four charges against three men, including sexual assault. The case will be heard in substance next year.
This afternoon it is about the accusation of colleague Anthony Rapp, who is known for Star Trek: Discoverybut also played in rent and 13 reasons why. Rapp ran into Spacey at a party in Manhattan in 1986, when they were both starring in Broadway productions. Spacey was 26 years old at the time, Rapp 14 years old. Spacey allegedly groped the boy and pushed him onto a bed, after which he lay on top of him.
Spacey denies having any sexual intentions. He previously responded to the incident: ,,If I behaved like this, it was unforgivably drunken behaviour. I’m sorry if I caused him any trouble with that.”
