Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has overcome an obstacle in her quest to become a lawyer.
Kardashian said on Twitter that she had passed the first-year exam for law students in California, which takes place throughout the day for those who do not follow the traditional path of studying law by entering a law school at a university.
And she wrote on her Twitter account, which has 70.7 million followers, “Oh my God, I passed the test,” and added, “For those who do not know my journey in studying law, it was not easy at all.”
Kardashian is studying law in California through a program that allows it under the supervision of a veteran attorney or judge. It is among the few states that have such a program.
By passing that test, Kardashian will be able to complete her law studies and take the bar exam in order to obtain a license to practice.
The test pass rate that Kardashian entered on October 26 has not yet been revealed, but only 21 percent of those who took the test in June passed the test.
On Monday, the California Bar Association said the test results are confidential and cannot confirm Kardashian’s success.
Kardashian also noted that she failed the test three times before passing it. It was her last chance, as California normally only allows first-year law students to take the exam three times, but it has given anyone who failed the June 2020 exam one extra attempt due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
