Mumbai: Actress Kangana Ranaut filed an amended petition in the Bombay High Court today. It has been said in the petition that due to the action of BMC, 40 percent damage has been done in Kangana’s house (office). Also demanded a compensation of two crores rupees from BMC.
On September 9, the alleged illegal construction was broken by the BMC in Ranaut’s bungalow in suburban Bandra, against which the actress had approached the High Court. The bench headed by Justice SJ Kathwalla had then stayed the BMC’s action saying it appeared to be ‘malicious’.
Kangana Ranaut, in her amended petition, alleged that as a result of her comments made against the Maharashtra government, BMC decided to sabotage.
According to this, recently the actress was in conflict with the Maharashtra government as she expressed her views on the action taken to deal with some issues related to the state government, which have an impact on the general public.
The petition also argued that Ranaut had sought permission from BMC for structural repairs in the bungalow and this permission was also granted in the year 2018.
In the petition, the court has been requested to declare the action of BMC illegal and compensate the ‘concerned authorities’ as compensation of two crore rupees. The next hearing of the case has been scheduled for 22 September.
