The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said on September 3 that he had sat too long as the leader of the republic and deserved an indefinite and long vacation.
“Friends, today I learned that I, it turns out, is a “long-liver” among the current heads of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. I myself noticed that I sat too long. I think that I fully deserved an indefinite and long vacation. I hope that you will support me and understand,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
The head of the republic noted that he had been in charge of the region for 15 years.
“We, Caucasians, Chechens, have a proverb “No matter how respected, long-awaited the guest is, if he leaves on time, then it can still be pleasant.” So I think my time has come too. Until I got kicked out. We have already begun to think about it and will try to leave in time,” Kadyrov said in a video message.
