Daniel Osvaldowho played in the Barcelona Spanish (2010-2011) and in Boca Juniors (2015-2016) confessed that he suffers from depression and has many problems with alcohol and drugs.
“I have been dealing with a very big depression for a long time. That depression made me fall into addictions, alcohol and drugs. And the truth is that I am in a moment in which my life is getting out of hand,” she declared in a video on his social networks.

He said that he is convinced that he is going to get out and go back to being the same as before, but that he does not understand how he got into that situation.
“It's hard for me to make this video because… I've never done anything like this. But I think the time has come because I'm quite desperate and I'm not having a very good time at all,” he said.
Once the video went viral, several of his former colleagues and ordinary people showed their support and sent him messages of support.

Osvaldo started in football in Hurricane and jumped to Europe to Spanish, played in the Rome Inter Milan and Juventus, team with which he won Serie A.
He then signed with Boca, first in 2015, when he played in 16 games and scored 7 goals. After a brief passage through PortoOsvaldo returned to his country to banfield in 2020 and played two games.
He permanently retired from professional football. With the Italian national team he played 14 games between 2011 and 2014 and scored 4 goals.
