Juventus, Jhotel? Seven million in revenues from the first hotel in Italy managed by a football club
Jhotel is the first hotel directly owned and managed by a football club (open since 2019 and closed during the covid period). The one from the hotel made at Juventus (32 of the 138 rooms for team and staff, each player has one all year round linked to his shirt number). it is a real Italian and perhaps European case history. The holding is headed by a hotel management company, B&W Nest, which takes care of the 4-star hotel in Turin led by GM Massimiliano Moncalieri.
Jhotel’s accounts add up. In the fiscal year archived on 30 June 2023, turnover of 6.8 million euros, while for the financial year in June of this year, revenues of over 7 million are expected. “It was a challenge and we are satisfied, in fact we have an employment rate that exceeds 70 percent. The type of clientele ranges from the football team team to sports supporters during events up to the world of business travel”, explains Moncalieri according to what pambianconews.com reports.
Among other things, the Juventus hotel is located in the Continassa area, strategic for fans who want to stay, also because it is located just 800 meters from the Stadium, the home of Juventus’ home matches. “In addition to the sporting aspect – concludes the GM – Jhotel is used by many companies for business events. We organize more than 200 a year, thanks to the ability to modulate meeting rooms up to accommodating 100 people”.
