Manuel Locatelli (Lapresse)
Juve transfer market, Locatelli: the midfielder has become the forbidden dream of many European big names. The starting price starts at 40 million euros
The new Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has identified Manuel Locatelli as the future pivot of the Juventus midfield. The Tuscan coach considers him central in the plan to relaunch the club in the international arena and the first goal of the market. In the meantime, Locatelli is showing off at the 2020 European Championships and contributed to the victory with Switzerland in the groups with a brace. The performance of the Sassuolo midfielder at Euro 2020, however, also attracted the attention of other big names in the Old Continent and for Juventus the risk of getting caught up in an auction becomes increasingly concrete.
Transfer market Juve, Locatelli: the auction starts for the midfielder, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are also in the running
Sassuolo values Locatelli 40 million euros and given the interest of many European big names the ds Carnevali does not intend to make discounts or accept technical compensation in exchange. The new Juventus sporting director Cherubini met his counterpart from Emilia last week but the conclusion of the negotiation is still long given the inclusion of Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund. Paris Saint Germain would also move in the background. In recent weeks Locatelli had opened his move abroad by commenting on the situation of Verratti, his teammate in the national team and among the stars of the Parisian club.
