Jungle cruise, the new original Disney movie, offers a fascinating adventure through our Amazon rainforest. The main characters are Captain Frank Wolff (Dwayne Johnson) and Dr. Lilly Houghton (Emily Blunt).
After a long wait, the film was released on July 30 through Disney + and select theaters. This production has not only convinced the critics, but also the consuming public who gave it a 93% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
According to The Wrap, Jungle Cruise could reach $ 32 million at the box office during its first weekend alone, thanks to its projection in more than 4,000 theaters in the United States.
Analysts from the same specialized medium presume that the film will end up displacing Black Widow, which is still on the billboard. The Delta variant does not appear to have had a dramatic impact on movie attendance in the North American country.
