fans of jujutsu kaisen they are more than happy with the announcement of the film’s arrival internationally. However, many more are still wondering when the second season of the anime will premiere. Although everything seems to indicate that it will take a long time to see Yūji Itadori and company in action again, in a few days there will be a special presentation that could change this.
To celebrate the resounding success of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 in Japan, a special event will be held next February 12, where several actors from the film will be present for an “important announcement”. At the moment it is unknown what we will see in this presentation, but here it could well be confirmed that a second season of the anime is on the way.

This special presentation will be held in a movie theater in Japan, although it will be broadcast live to other places. Here, Megumi Ogata, Kana Hanazawa, Yūichi Nakamura, and Takahiro Sakurai, actors from Jujutsu Kaisen 0, will be present for talk about the success of the movie, thank the fans, and make the surprise announcement we’ve all been waiting for.
The first season of jujutsu kaisen began airing in 2020, and enjoyed 24 episodes that were well received by fans around the world. Although in the past it was mentioned that the production of the second season would take longer than expected, especially considering that MAPPA, the animation studio, is in charge of several projects at the same time, among them the adaptation of chainsaw man, this month’s announcement could reveal at the end of the day if there was room for this production.
On related topics, jujutsu kaisen was the best-selling manga of 2021. Similarly, the film of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 confirms its premiere in Latin America.
Editor’s Note:
I look forward to the return of jujutsu kaisen, especially considering that the next arc to be adapted is one of the longest and most impressive in the series thus far. However, I don’t want the animators at MAPPA to spend hours and hours, not just on this project, but on the other adaptations they’re working on. Better take your time.
