Association of magistrates organized the “Baile Themis 2023” with a dance floor, a show by singer Dinho Ouro Preto and a video post on Instagram; sponsorship value was not disclosed
A Asmego (Association of Magistrates of the State of Goiás) held an end of year party on Saturday (Dec 2, 2023). The event was at entity headquarters and published on their internet profiles, such as on Instagram. There was a panel with the brands of 5 private institutions that are partners of the association: Sicoob, PicPay, GAV Resorts, Unimed It is Equatorial.
In social media poststhe association released photos of the “Themis Ball 2023”the entity’s annual event. “Themis” or “Themis” is the goddess of Justice in Greek mythology. The venue had dinner for the guests, with a dance floor, a DJ and a show by singer Dinho Ouro Preto, lead singer of the band Capital Inicial.

Asmego is a private entity, chaired by judge Patrícia Carrijo, who is also vice-president of AMB (Association of Brazilian Magistrates). On the association’s website, it appears that its main “flag” and the “defense of the guarantees and prerogatives of members of the Judiciary of Goiás, class interests and the defense of the Judiciary of Goiás”.
In the video of the party, it is possible to identify on screens the names of 5 private institutions that at some point have partnered with Asmego. It is unclear which specifically sponsored the “Themis Ball 2023”the cost of last Saturday’s event, nor did the association want to inform this data to the Power360.
The Asmego video does not allow you to see it very clearly, but it is possible to see in the images the names of the association’s 5 private partner entities: Sicoob (Sistema de Cooperativas Financeiras do Brasil), PicPay, GAV Resorts, Unimed and Equatorial:
O Power360 sought out companies to comment on their partnership relationship with Asmego. Of the 5, only Equatorial responded. The other 4 did not send a response until the publication of this post. If there is a response, the information will be included in this text.
Here is the note from Equatorial:
“Equatorial Energia supports institutional, sporting and cultural events from various entities, according to requests received through the company’s official website or via official letter. The choice of sponsored events is made by an internal committee, which takes into account the Group’s sponsorship policy and the information provided in the support request.
Equatorial clarifies that, in the specific case of ASMEGO, the event for which the Company’s support was requested was the “X National Judiciary Games”, a national sporting event, held in the city of Goiânia, in October this year”.
Asmego sent a note to the Power360reproduced below, in full:
“The Association of Magistrates of the State of Goiás (Asmego) has been holding end-of-year celebrations for members and their families for decades. The event is paid for with the entity’s own resources, which is financed by the monthly contribution of active magistrates, retirees and pensioners. On some occasions, there are advertising quotas for companies, legally and legitimately. Asmego is a private entity, is not part of the Judiciary and is accountable to its members, who have access to the balance sheets”.
O “Themis Ball 2023” was held a few days before the election of the new presidency of Asmego, scheduled for this Friday (Dec 8, 2023).
A dispute will be with a single ticketheaded by the current president of Asmego, judge Patrícia Carrijo, who is running for reelection together with Renata Nacagami (candidate for vice president) and Rosa Lúcia Perillo (who is running for the position of 2nd vice president).
