Judge Peinado asks for the list of all Moncloa “workers and advisors”

Judge Juan Carlos Peinado, who has been investigating Begoña Gómez for months, has asked the Presidency of the Government to provide a detailed list of all the workers and advisors who work at the Moncloa Palace. The magistrate has taken this measure within the framework of an investigation into whether a Moncloa advisor sent various emails to the wife of the President of the Government about her work at the Complutense University.

Cristina Álvarez, Moncloa advisor who sent those emails, has been called to testify in the coming days.

The magistrate, who has been directing the investigation against Gómez for months after a complaint from Manos Cleans, has focused his investigations on Begoña Gómez’s relationship with the Complutense University, where she had two master’s degrees and an extraordinary professorship. Her latest move is to investigate whether a Moncloa advisor worked for her, sending several emails related to her work at the center.

In an order made known this Thursday, the magistrate asks the Presidency of the Government for a list of positions “of the different workers and advisors who carry out their work at the Moncloa Palace”, in addition to other information. For example, ask the Complutense for more information about Gómez’s extraordinary professorship and any type of record that could be made in this regard.
