Irapuato, Guanajuato.- In Irapuato, Guanajuato, Judge Karla María Macías Lovera stopped the National Guard from passing to the SEDENAthis is how the head of the ninth court based in the city of Strawberry, granted a definitive suspension to the decision that the National Guard transfer to the militia this due to the protections promoted by various civil organizations in Mexico that do not agree with the militarization figure.
The organizations: Citizen Force Uniting Paths, Civic Union 1 country, Mexico Making Citizen, Neurona Ciudadana, published an official statement in conjunction with the Firma Jurídica, AC&AC Asociados, Tojil Eek offices.
In total, among all these civil organizations, 72 amparos were added, in the official publication it was reported that the head of the Ninth Court of the Sixteenth Circuit granted the definitive suspension to the decision that the National Guard pass to the Secretary of National Defense.
“The objective of the suspension is to keep the matter of the amparo alive, so that the act is not irreparably consumed and therefore the eventual constitutional protection would be illusory,” reads the part of file 1161/2022, where it is stated establishes the order of the definitive suspension.
It was reported in the document that the operational and administrative control of the National Guard cannot be transferred to the Secretary of National Defense and that the body remains under the command of the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, as dictated by article 21 of the constitution.
